"Embrace and Transform Your Shadows.
Here to Heal, Grow, and Thrive"
Kiara Hill, a proud St. Louis native, is currently enriching her profound journey in holistic wellness as a doctoral student in Medical Family Therapy at Saint Louis University (SLU). Her academic path began with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from SLU, where she also embarked on her clinical journey at the Center for Counseling and Family Therapy.

Driven by a deep-rooted commitment to serve, Kiara expanded her expertise at Lutheran Family and Child Services and Casa de Salud. At these institutions, she delivered essential mental health services to underinsured immigrants and refugees, fueling her passion for supporting some of our community's most underserved populations. Her experience is vast, extending into substance abuse management at the Assisted Recovery Centers of America (ARCA), where she provided transformative care that goes beyond treatment, reaching into the heart of recovery and resilience.

Her work at SLUCare University Towers has seen her collaborating with integrative healthcare teams to ensure that every aspect of a patient's wellbeing is addressed—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Kiara is passionately dedicated to exploring how mental health intricately connects with chronic illness, substance use, and the dynamics of social relationships, reinforcing her holistic approach to health and wellness.
Kiara Hill’s journey is not just about treatment—it's about fostering healing connections and advocating for systemic change in healthcare. Her holistic perspective is integral to our mission at Wellness Beyond the Chair, where we strive to ensure that every individual receives care that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.
Research has proven, for some people, that psychotherapy works best in combination with psychiatric medication.
